APRIL 5TH, RIDE IN - THE CLASSIC MOTOR HUB, NEAR BIBURY (FRIDAY!)

APRIL 14TH, ROYAL FOREST FORAY 

Clutch out at 09:00 from Costa Coffee at St Oswalds Retail Park, GL1 2TE. 

Led by GKB, returning around 14:00, (a bit of a breakfast run for those on a limited time)

APRIL 16TH.  CCAM Clubnight at Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury, starts 19:30

CHRIS ROBERTS WILL BE RETURNING, ONCE AGAIN, WITH A PRESENTATION ON MOTORCYCLES DURING THE GREAT WAR


MAY 2024

MAY 3rd. RIDE IN - THE CLASSIC MOTOR HUB, NEAR BIBURY

This will still be to the Cotswold Motor Hub for 11.00am.  This will take the form of a 'Ride In' where riders will congregate at a location for a bit of a social gathering, with the option to either ride back home on your own, or join others for a group ride along a scenic route before dropping off and heading home.


MAY 12th. BREACON BEACONS

Clutch out at 09:00 from Costa Coffee at St Oswalds Retail Park, Gloucester. Led by James Fisher. We head out to Monmouth and the old road to Abergavenny, on to Talybont on Usk for breakfast stop. Then to Breacon via reservoirs and Heads of Valleys road. Stopping at the Copper Kettle Tea Rooms on the way back, via Skenfrith road. Approx. 140 miles.


MAY 19TH. CCAM SLOW BIKE EVENT - Robins Football ground at Whaddon

Starting at 9:30am till 1230. These are about 6 slow manoeuvring exercises that are conducted within the car park area. Hot drinks/biscuits provided during the morning with toilet facilities on site. Ideal conditions to be assisted/tutored with your slow bike demons.... oh, and it's fun!


MAY 21st. CCAM Clubnight at Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury

Commencing at 7:30pm, come along to our social evening, to catch up with the committee and each other. It's got to be better than Home and Away, hasn't it?

JUNE 9th. WILTSHIRE/SOMERSET WANDER

Led by GKB, this is a short run to charge up your batteries. Clutch out at 9.00 from Seven Springs small layby, returning around 5:00pm


JUNE 18th. CCAM Clubnight at Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury, 19:30 start

JUNE 23rd. PRESCOTT BIKE FEST

8:30 - 17:00.  As most of you know by now, CCAM will be in attendance for recruitment purposes and as usual will be looking for volunteers to assist on the stand for a couple of hours throughout the day. Task in hand is to convince interested individuals why they should join/need us whilst providing a interesting and upbeat reflection on your own journey as bait. 

It will be a fun day for all as there should be plenty to see when your not on the stand and taking a break. Please put your name forward if you can assist, bearing in mind we can only take around 9 volunteers, so apologies if you are not required due to eager and early sign ups.

This month we have Carol Swiers from the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity coming along to provide us with an insight into the Charities great work, so let's see some support with your attendance on this please, after all you can always record Home and Away for when you get home can`t you ..

AUGUST 13TH. RIDE OUT TO ABERYSTWYTH FOR FISH AND CHIPS

Led by Sean Nicholas   Meet/Clutch out at 8.30am from Costa next to Morrisons Metz Way GL1 1AH. Approx 250-mile day full of big scenery through an undulating and twisty route. Finer details/GPX file if required nearer the time. ( 2 x volunteer sweepers required please)

Dinorwig Power Station (Dams to us). A very different speaker this evening by Chris Roberts, kindly giving us an insight to the above. Let's hope the talk holds water !!!! sorry

SEPTEMBER 23rd. GLOUCESTERSHIRE CONSTABULARY OPEN DAY
10:00AM - 15:00 at Police HQ, 1 Waterwells Drive, Quedgeley, Gloucester GL2. This is a fab day for all the family and CCAM will be there again flying the flag. Beware - due to the popularity of this free event you will require a ticket for admission, which can be obtained online.

MARCH 17TH. RED NOSE RUN

A visit into Worcestershire, Shropshire and Herefordshire. This is a charity based ride out led by David Preece where we suggest those in attendance to donate £10.00 to this worthy cause, in fact even if you don`t attend you can donate anyway, just forward to the club if you feel inclined (Details upon request) in fact all donations should be sent to the club via PayPal ref Red Nose.
