September 2019


Sunday September 1st, Rideout to ROYAL SIGNALS BLANDFORD, led by Under30 member Alex Butler 07481 846029. Meeting at 8.45am in the Big lay-by at Seven Springs (Cotswold Diner location) likely to be a 200 miler give or take. The royal signals museum is dedicated to the work & history of the Royal Signals. Exhibits include d-ray and deception, Operation Secret Waves, the soe and information on how Winnie the pooh and Lord of the rings are connected to the royal signals. Please remember to bring photo ID or driving license as this is still a working location, £8.00 entry fee, a group reduction could be available but Alex would need to know numbers before the day. Don't worry if you have not passed your test yet, all Associates are welcome.

Saturday 14th September GLOUCESTER POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSION 5TH OPEN DAY. Held at the TRI Centre Waterwells Business Park. 10.00am until 3.00pm This one`s so much fun for all of the family with stalls galore and Police shows to enthrall you all... oh and we will be there, touting of course. This is a great family day and has something for everyone (yes they serve ice cream with chips !) IF YOU CAN SPARE AN HOUR ON OUR STAND THEN PLEASE CONTACT ANDY DOWNS

Sunday 22nd September , Second
CCAM Skills Days 2019. 09:30 - 13:00, these mornings comprise a series of machine control exercises, with CCAM Observers on hand to advise and help you improve your slow speed handling skills using your own machine. Emphasis will be on Slow Manoeuvring in line with the requirements of the Advance Rider Course syllabus. There will be no braking exercises this time. It is free of charge and is open to all CCAM Associates and CCAM Members; and dependent upon numbers, some guests by invitation. Saturday September 28TH, Rideout - thought we would try a change. Going to LAKE VYRNWY, Meet at Costa Coffee St Oswald`s Glos leaving at 8.45am returning approx 5.00pm around 200 miles (Well did you expect me to be exact !) led by Graham Bailey... sorry

Tuesday 15th October, Clubnight
19:30-22:00, Gupshill Manor, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury. The observer team will be speaking abount the life of an Oberver and advising how other members can become an Observer.


November 2019

Tuesday NOVEMBER 19TH,  Clubnight 19:30-22:00, Gupshill Manor, Gloucester Road, Tewkesbury. Wayne Harrison a traveling TT Marshall and Paramedic giving an insight/view of road riding. This evening has extended an invite to other IAM surrounding clubs so come along early before you lose your seat. Given Wayne's interest/support for the Severn Free Wheeler's, perhaps a donation from the shop floor would be appropriate... leave this thought with you all.

Saturday 14th December, Christmas Celebration. We will be seated for 7.00pm in the main Gushill Manor Restaurant area to a max number of only 35. This is a 3 course Christmas Fayre menu all for just £24.95 which can be viewed on their Web site info@gupshillmanor.com..
