Charitable Support by CCAM and its Members

CCAM and its Members are very much a reflection of the local community and are therefore involved in support to charitable organisations in the local area.  Below provides a representation of some of the Charities which have been supported by CCAM, including those that have ongoing support.

Severn Freewheelers

Severn Freewheelers (SFW) is a registered charity which directly supports the NHS.  It is a group of advanced motorcyclists providing a free out-of-hours courier service for hospitals in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, North Wiltshire and Herefordshire. They carry whole blood, pathology samples, patient scans / x-rays, human milk - in fact any medical essentials between hospitals in the area.  Hours of operatrion are from 7pm in the evening to 7am the following day, and 24 hours at weekends and public holidays.  There are currently 22 CCAM Members who are also SFW Members.

Local Air Ambulances

CCAM members are also supporters of the local Air Ambulance Charities.
They have raised thousands of pounds over the years, which has been shared between the Midland Air Ambulance and the Great Western Air Ambulance Services.
