Led by GKB with Mr Peter Harvey sweeping Clutch out at 9.30am from Costa Coffee, St Oswolds, Gloucester, returning around 3.00pm approx.

SEPTEMBER 17th. CCAM Clubnight at Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury, 19:30 start

Fancy becoming a Blood Biker or more importantly maybe a Coordinator for them, well in that case you need to pop along and find out more....


SEPTEMBER 22ND. RIDE OUT - BREAKFAST AND BREW RUN  ***CANCELLED***
Led by James Fisher, looking for a sweep. Clutch out at 9:30am, after 9:15 briefing, from Large Layby at Seven Springs (afflict.outsize.desiring). Going tothe Old Shed near Charlbury for breakfast, then onto Milcote Cafe for a brew. Returning via Seven Springs, around 90 miles total.

OCTOBER 6TH. CCAM SLOW BIKE EVENT - ***CANCELLED*** Robins Football ground at Whaddon GL52 5NA

Starting at 9:30am till 1230. These are about 6 slow manoeuvring exercises that are conducted within the car park area. Hot drinks/biscuits provided during the morning with toilet facilities on site. Ideal conditions to be assisted/tutored with your slow bike demons.... oh, and it's fun!


OCTOBER 13TH RIDE OUT TO REME CROWN CAFE LYNEHAM.

Led by GKB and followed by Super Sweep Peter Harvey. Clutch out at 10.00am from Costa Coffee adjacent  Cotswolds BMW off Grovefield Way Cheltenham (badge.trace.door) likely returning after around 80 miles round trip with a bit of luck and accurate planning ?

NOVEMBER 19th. CCAM Clubnight at Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury, 19:30 start

Scalextric (Remember those) Evening Designed/Run by Jez Brown. A fun event…Maximum 4 racers at a time on a 2-lane track. Course to be confirmed on the night, but will include long straights, cross-overs and also overtaking. Rules of race to be given on the night. Prize is to be insufferable for the next meeting only.

MAY 2024

MAY 3rd. RIDE IN - THE CLASSIC MOTOR HUB, NEAR BIBURY

This will still be to the Cotswold Motor Hub for 11.00am.  This will take the form of a 'Ride In' where riders will congregate at a location for a bit of a social gathering, with the option to either ride back home on your own, or join others for a group ride along a scenic route before dropping off and heading home.


MAY 12th. BREACON BEACONS

Clutch out at 09:00 from Costa Coffee at St Oswalds Retail Park, Gloucester. Led by James Fisher. We head out to Monmouth and the old road to Abergavenny, on to Talybont on Usk for breakfast stop. Then to Breacon via reservoirs and Heads of Valleys road. Stopping at the Copper Kettle Tea Rooms on the way back, via Skenfrith road. Approx. 140 miles.

JUNE 23rd. PRESCOTT BIKE FEST

8:30 - 17:00. As most of you know by now, CCAM will be in attendance for recruitment purposes and as usual will be looking for volunteers to assist on the stand for a couple of hours throughout the day. Task in hand is to convince interested individuals why they should join/need us whilst providing a interesting and upbeat reflection on your own journey as bait.

It will be a fun day for all as there should be plenty to see when your not on the stand and taking a break. Please put your name forward if you can assist, bearing in mind we can only take around 9 volunteers, so apologies if you are not required due to eager and early sign ups.


JUNE 30th. SANDBANKS / POOLE HARBOUR

Led by GKB; planned and swept by Peter Harvey. Clutch out at 8.00 from Seven Springs small layby (marzipan.curiosity.risks), returning around 5:30pm

Led by Jez Brown. Clutch out at 10:00am from Silver Fox, Newnham (What 3 words: shape,surveyors,super), briefing at 9:45am. Heading off towards Chepstow, then back through Forest of Dean, then stopping at the Copper Kettle tea rooms. Then cross country to Abergavenny and Monmouth with final stop at Fairview Gardener at Huntley.

JULY 21st. CCAM CHIEF OBSERVERS RIDE OUT (NOTE CHANGES BELOW)
This ride out is an opportunity for all members to come along and find out about everything else that CCAM has to offer besides the Advanced Riding Course. Whether you fancy training to be an observer, having a Members Skills Check, taking on the challenge of a Masters Riding Course, doing a track day, helping at a slow riding event, becoming a Fellow member or just being more involved in organising club events, this is the opportunity to come along and have a chat with one of our observers or committee members about taking the next step. Departing Starbucks, Eastern Avenue, (train.sling.scouts) Gloucester at 10am (Early arrivals for a cuppa at 09:30), now going to Super Sausage for 12:30pm, afternoon Break around Burford 3pm, return to Gloucester by 5pm.

AUGUST 10th. WALES, THE GOOD, BAD AND THE UGLY (SATURDAY)

Led by Jez Brown. Starting from Trioscape Garden Centre (what3words: ///insolvent.commented.audible) with a brief at 9.00am. Clutch out at 9:15am. Heading North via Tenbury Wells towards Knighton. Stop for a cuppa at Aardvard Bookshop before Knighton, then onto  my favourite road (The Good) in Wales, 13 miles of country road with few straight lines. Head over towards Devils Bridge (The Bad) to stop for lunch at the café at the end of the Vale of Rheidol railway. After lunch we head south down through the Elan Valley – if it is dry then it can look moon-like (The Ugly) If wanted stop for a cuppa / break at the Elan Valley centre, then home via Rhyader and get some petrol at Crossgates. Take the A44 back towards England and Hereford, but avoid Hereford and end up at Ross on Wye. AUGUST 18TH. RIDE OUT TO RUTLAND WATER 

Clutch out at 8.30am from Starbucks J9 M5 Ashchurch (What three words: timed.deflection.panicking). Returning around 5.30pm with a promise of scenery, non-straight roads and a watering hole; Led by GKB and swept by the infamous and current holder of the Bright Spark ward - Mr Peter Harvey

BIKETRAC - JULIE EMMITT Bike security   This is a topic clearly close to all of our hearts given the value of our beloved machines these days, as Julie will be talking to us on all aspects of security products and options some of which we may not have even considered.... so see you on the night then if your not tied up ?.
